Due to the growing number of patients that have come to this office due to injuries sustained from automobile crashes, Dr. Ryoo has voluntarily begun receiving advanced training in this field. Currently, many number of the patients seen in this office are seen for automobile crash injuries. This prompted Dr. Ryoo to obtain certification process in the field of Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology through the Palmaer chiropractic college in San Jose. By being an expert in this field, his goal is to translate that knowledge into improved chiropractic treatment and patient management for those with automobile injuries, especially whiplash injuries.

According to statistics compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for 2004, there were over 6 million reported automobile crashes in the U.S. that year with over 2.5 million of the occupants reporting injuries.
